Reinforcing eyelets

When it comes to reinforcing eyelets could please someone explain what 'Megabix' & 'USM' mean?!

Realizing it might be a tought question I'm sure someone knows so I'd appreciate any inside: I searched the forums & googled but nothing specific came up :(

Megabix is about 1mm thick material used in the eyelet area under the top leather part for more reinforcement so your eyelets won't rip thru the leather and other materials in that section of the skate. USM on the other hand is a company which supplies equipment and materials to the shoe industry and skate industry.

So if USM is a brand then does it mean that 'USM eyelets' are just regular eyelets or are they special in some ways?

Also when a pro-skate is said to have 'reinforced eyelets' does it mean it has megabix throuhgout or something else?
