weedsnager 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2010 can't imagine what that's gonna cost.....there's a bar up there on the 96th floor, take your wife up there for a drink, and it's around $25 for two drinks!!!

Nothing on or near the mag mile is cheap. The world series winners in baseball are referred to as world champions too arent they?As are the winners of the Super Bowl. The NHL is the highest level of hockey in the world, so IMO calling the Stanley Cup champs, "world champions" isnt out of line.

The last one I can think of is Ottawa in 1922. It just doesn't happen. "Stanley Cup Champions" not "World Champions".

Just a guesshttp://www.chicagobreakingnews.com/2010/09/hancock-plans-ice-rink--1000-feet-up.htmlA 25-minute skating session will cost $5 (plus an extra buck if you need skates), in addition to admission to the observatory, which goes for $10 to $15.My point is, when's the last time you saw or heard an Stanley Cup-winning team, or its fans, call themselves "World Champs"?
