Labeda Gripper Set Up?

Recommended Posts

So I just bought some Labeda Asphalt Grippers and a regular gripper (80A). I'm gonna be using them on a smooth, painted concrete surface which unfortunately is usually covered in dust and leaves. Are the asphalt grippers too hard for the surface I'm skating and is it possible the 80A grippers are not soft enough? I'm gonna be playing twice a week now on this surface so I was thinking about longevity while not sacrificing "grippiness".

I got the two kinds cause I've read it's an effective way of getting the best speed and grip, but I'm unsure of how to maximize this effect. I've read on different threads that the softer wheels should go on the outside since that's what you're using to turn and stop while others have mentioned they should go in the middle slots. With my previous wheels (kryptonics 84A power play wheels that lasted me about 8 games) I kept slipping on just basic turns when the wheel reached the end of its usefulness.
