Easton ST6 vs ST16 elbow pads

Recommended Posts

Can anyone please tell me what, if any, significant difference(s) there are between Easton ST6 and ST16 elbow pads? I have read the product descriptions on-line and do not discern much difference. My local shop does not carry both so I cannot compare them side-by-side. I have tried on the ST16's and they seem to fit well and offer very good protection. However, if there is not much of a difference I would consider picking up a pair of ST6's for a few dollars less. I play in a beer league but am looking for a bit more forearm protection than my current elbow pads. Thanks much.

They did feel real solid, fit comfortably, and have gotten good reviews - maybe a bit of overkill for my level - which is why I ask about the ST6's as well. Thanks.

For the off-chance slash, trip, hit, or just falling over it is better to have more protection than less. That said, the ST6's would probably be fine for your level, but I'd shell out the few extra bucks for the top line pad when it's on sale anyway.

Thanks Krev. That is what I was thinking but since I had not seen an actual ST6 in person I wanted to at least pose the question. I see that the ST16's are about $40 in most places - a nice price.
