Which of these skates are "punchable"?

Hey guys, I need to get skates but my feet have special needs. The number one requirement is that the skates need to be able to be punched in a certain area- right above the arch. I have a small bone there (on both feet) that protrudes and pushes against the sidewall of the skate and hurts like crazy. I'm thinking punching out that area will alleviate the problem. My understanding is that skates with carbon composite in the boot (like Easton S17) can't be punched. With all the new skates using fancy new space age materials, I want to make sure the skates I get can be altered.

These are the skates I'm looking into. Please let me know if they can be punched out. Of course I'll have to try them on but I would like to rule out the ones that definitely won't work for me (I don't trust the shop guys to know). Also, if you guys know which skates have the closest fit to Easton S17, since those fit me really well. Oh and if anyone knows of any other solutions to my foot problem, I'd love to hear it.

Edit: So I went to the pro shop today and tried on a few of the skates and crossed off the ones that definitely weren't for my feet.

well there is no exact match obviously, but if you like the S17 and the narrow heel lock and wider forefoot, than try the Supremes

all of the above can be punched out. Non will get you the overall feel and fit of the S17.

curious - how exactly does the punching out process work for the Alive based skates? do they have to be heated first or something?
