BCheetham93 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2010 Hey guys, haven't posted in a LONG time. Just thought I'd get some reaction to this. I saw that the Ovechkin documentary was coming out (two days ago), and of course I rush delivered it =P. Just got it in the mail, and currently watching it. I'll update when I watch the whole film. Also, for those of you who have seen Sidney Crosby: On the ice and beyond, please compare and contrast. I believe the whole movie is viewable on youtube last time I checked. Thanks!
mug25 2 Report post Posted November 19, 2010 Bleh, I think it's funny how these guys who are still early in their career have "documentaries" already. I could somewhat see Crosby since he's won a cup AND a Gold Medal but Ovie hasn't done anything besides score a lot of goals and get bounced from the playoffs early. pby 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2010 Probably pass on this one. Watched a short documentary before and I don't really expect much to be added that hasn't been under the media spotlight.PS. Crosby hasn't won anything when his dvd was released :)

boconnor811 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2010 Anyone who owns the DVD is it roughly an hour? FWIW I believe NHL network showed this last night in my market, so anyone interested may be able to catch this without buying the dvd
dsjunior1388 81 Report post Posted December 15, 2010 Saw it on NHL network last night during a slow day at the rink. There was really nothing too it, and almost no on-ice stuff. Just him talking about cars, friends, Russia, and other pedestrian stuff. The segment at the NHL awards was awful. They gave him a flip video and had him do awkward interviews with Crosby, Mike Green, and other players.
boconnor811 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2010 The part at the NHL awards was almost as bad as the CCM commercials featuring his head, which coincidentally, are also documented in "The Gr8"
