Easton EQ-1 Socks

Just saw these on TotalHockey. Looks like they've got two velcro tabs, front and back — something that the RBK socks lacked. Anyone used these yet?

After switching to RBK Edge socks I will never go back to traditional socks again so it's nice to see another brand getting into this style of sock.

I'm anxious to see these as well. They say "Loose Fit" which is the thing I would not like. I like they tight feel of the edge socks.

Same here but I have tree trunk calves so where the Edge socks fit loose on some people mine fit nice and tight :D

I just got a pair from TotalHockey and they are awesome. I like them much better than the Edge Socks. They breathe well, keep cool and dry, all while staying put due to the two Velcro tabs. I don't have a single complaint yet other than they will be more expensive to replace when they get cut. Just my two cents, but I think they are the best socks out there and certainly the best I've ever tried!

Too bad they only come in solid colors. Would consider trying a pair but I've already got a pair of all black Edge socks.

They aren't very stretchy; the material feels similar to my Easton practice jersey so there is a bit of give, but I wouldn't describe it as stretchy. As far as the fit goes, they fit me and my equipment better than the Edge socks, but some of that could be personal preference. Also, I have Easton shins so it might be that they are tailored to fit Easton gear. Either way I absolutely love them!

Got my pair in the mail last friday and got to test them out yesterday. Personally, I don't see much of a difference between these and the reebok edge socks. Keeping in mind that this is a matter of personal preference, I would say that the Edge socks are better.
