Pro Shop vs Website

I have bought from both but what is your opinion? I trust pro shops to try padding,stick's... but on the internet you can find good deals and get newer and better padding thats not sold in your local pro shop. Write about pros and cons and bad or good experiance's.

pros: helping the local economy, can find the piece of equipment that fits best or if the piece of equipment you wanted to buy fits in the first place.

The only thing I will buy online is sticks if they're prostock or my LHS doesn't have my specs.

I like supporting the local guy when I can, and I always refer friends there for skates and pads when fit is in question.

Sometimes the savings of buying the same product online are just too great. Generally, if the LHS is within 10% of the online stores I'll go to the LHS.

Depends. I usually will buy everything online with the exception of skates. I would extra shell out a few more dollars to try on a pair and then have them baked then get some online.
