I just have a quick question for those who went on sales. I'm planning to go on HABS game used equipment sale this weekend at Bell Center. I just want to know if the stock is cheaper because it's used, or the prices are boosted because it has been use by the pro players. I'm looking for a stick or gloves...

At the Sharks sale most gear is cheaper if it's not signed(sticks), jerseys are expensive.

At the sale the Devils have every year, sticks at least are a flat $50. I walked out with two Rolston S19s for $100 total. Well, I'm 99% sure it's something else dressed as one, but still.

Thanks very much for your anwers guys it's very appreciated. Looks like I am going to go at the sale... Are the sticks really "game-used" or the expression aplies more for jerseys and gloves?

I believe they can't boost the price of the sticks since you have no warranty on them...

do a search on previous years Habs sale, some people here put some prices/comments. From what I remember it was kind of expensive.

The Habs sale prices are pretty pricey...I know from experience :)

The Bruins Pro shop had a handful of T.O.s for $130 and a U+CL for $50.

I've been tot he last 4. The stciska re actually game used. some are in good shape, some arent. My best advice is to un tape the sticks so you can see for cracks at the blade. They have new and used helmets, practice and game jerseys, tshirts, skates and goalie gear. Some stuff is in really good condition. The habs usually repalm all the gloves before the sell them to the publicThe prices for things based off the last 4 sales are as follows, don't kill me if they changed them this year:

Helmets:$75-$150

Gloves:$75-$300 (depends who's name is on the glove"

Sticks:$125

Jerseys:$40-$75

Skates:$125-$250

It usually starts at 9.30am, and it's this saturday.

It takes place at the bell centre. You line up outside the boutique. Once the clock stricks 9:30 they open the doors, you go through the boutique into the main concourse of the bell centre where they have tables set up with stuff

Would I have a chance to get a helmet in SMALL ? I don't believe any nhler would have a small head like mine... lol

Not Habs related, but at the Ducks sale, there was probably about 200 helmets left by the time I got it. Mostly smalls

Some helmets fit different people differently. For example I take a medium in reebok, but a small ccm. You really dont have anything to lose, it's a fun thing to to and something to experience.
