pro stock stick question

i understand many pros are using one 95 sticks painted as total ones or s19s as se16s. why dont they just use the newer stick? how can you guys tell if the skates are dressed or the sticks are repainted as a different stick?

Pros don't like marketing gimmicks, as they say, don't fix something if it ain't broken. And for example you can tell a s19 from a se16 by the taper (Stealth sticks are kind of oval). There is much more to say about this topic but you can find it by using the search button, it's been covered a hundred times

I'm not trying to be mean or anything but if you had scrolled down there was a very similar question where you could have asked! oh well and also if they find something they like they will probably stick with it.
