GEAR Composite Blades

Recommended Posts

Has anyone every tried one of the Gear composite blades that HockeyGiant for sale. I'm wondering whether it is worth trying them out or not.

I've been using an Easton Hybrid, but it cracked on me last night after only 7 or 8 games, and i'm hoping to find something a little more durable.

Any reviews from anyone here?

they are thin..and depending on how you shoot... a bit bendy....i'd use them for roller..but not for ice..

I actually play roller, but figured durability wise, i'd ask here. I've got a pretty hard slapshot, but maybe they'll hold up.

For $30, might be worth a shot.

durability usually isn't a problem..i know the first blades were actually tested outdoors in Cerritos...it just depends what you like for a blade...if i'm using carbon..i don't want it to flex..leave that to the shaft...but its not bad...no real insert in it ..so its thin...decent feel...but if you're a bigger guy you may want to look at the TPS X1 for another $10...
