talkintothemike 4 Report post Posted January 5, 2011 I have a pair of Reebok 9k pants that I think are the 2008 version. This is the core/shell set-up where the "shell" attaches with those velcro loops and it has those extra plastic inserts for kidney protection. I have ripped my "shell" so I called Reebok about a replacement. No can-do. I got 3 different versions from 3 different customer service reps. The last rep said buy a CCM Vector shell even though websites say that shell only fits the Vector girdles and it looks like a really low fit. (And no kidney protection.) The CCM Pro shell with the tie and belt looks like it would work, especially since it has that extra kidney protection, but one Reebok rep said that only fits OVER pants and I would be swimming in it with my 9k core.Anyone have any experience with this? Would one of the above work better than the other? What about going to a Warrior Hitman pant shell as that looks like it has some additional padding in the kidney area? I've picked up a few 9k shells there with minimal effort.I have the hitman shell over 9k girdle it fits fine (med pant and shell). elevation 1 Report post Posted January 6, 2011 He Kenneth, how do you fix the hitman to your 9k...did you sew 3 loops in or how...never saw the warrior shell, but as I rarely find the 9k on ebay (except some pros, that are too expensive for me getting them to Europe) I am thinking about the hitmen shell...as they are available here too.. I'll snap some pictures to show you how I modded them.But basically what I did was cut slits in the material holding the "belt system" in place. it runs straight through the pants.
