which boots are you talking about? some of the skates use the same boot for each..while others remove certain plastics, etc..what is the venting like on the inline boot??

I did notice that the venting on the side of the PF boots (just back of the top cap) is a lot softer than the plastic pieces in the same spot on the Vector ice boots, so you won't get as much protection there at least. The rest of the boot seems the same as the Vector 3 boot, appart from the colours.

By the time you've bought the PF 4's and put on ice blades you're probably looking at the same sort of money as the Vector 6 skates ($199 on 1800 face-off), which will give you a much better boot. Of course if it's the looks you're after... well you'll have to decide how much that's worth to you.

Those would look sick withthe blue t'blades i had.
