anyone use a referee bag?

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for a new equipment bag and am wondering if anyone uses a referee bag. This will be strictly for roller and I don't wear a girdle or shoulders. Seems like the only thing I wear that a referee wouldn't is gloves. You guys think a referee bag would work or will it be too small?

I use a Nike extra large fitness bag slightly larger (2-3 inches in length) and half the price of that one for roller gear. I do use a girdle but it's a Reebok 9k which doesn't have a lot of the rigid plastic inserts, so it takes up little space.

Seems like I'll be using it for a few years, so go for that Bauer ref bag. It looks way more legit than my fitness bag.

I use a "Force - Team Canada" referee bag, for coaches equipment. It has a compartment at the bottom, where I keep pucks, white board, net cover (with 5 holes), instruction books, extra socks, whistle that kind of stuff. With skates, gloves and helmet in the top compartment. So if you put your shin-pads and elbow pads in the bottom, you should be good to go with this bag. It has wheels and a pull-out handle for easy transport. This is a seriously heavy-duty bag, thick cordura, and big hefty zippers... it is made to last.
