glove question (fingers)

Hey guys,

Since a lot of you on here seem to love gloves I figured I'd ask a fitting question. The problem is with the finger length, I'm currently using 12" gloves from my Jr years because I ended up losing some of my equipment during a move. I went to my lhs and their glove selection was pretty limited. Based of typical glove sizing I should be using a 14" glove but everyone I tried on were to long in the fingers. The Bauer x60s fit the best of them all, but I was curious if there maybe another company out there besides Bauer, warrior, and Easton That have smaller length in the fingers? Reebok, eagle maybe?

Only if you get custom gloves. IIRC, the Bauer 4 rolls have fairly short fingers. On charts I was a 14-15" inch glove, but in reality I like 13-14". Did you try on any 13" gloves?

I did and was debating if I should go with the 13" and not worry about how the cuff came up shorter on my arm. What would you guys do? I'm leaning towards the 13s now.

I'd go with a glove that fits your hand and use a longer elbow pad (like a Jofa 9177) or slashguard wrist band to fill that gap.
