Bauer X40 vs Supreme one70

Hey all,

New to this forum and I appreciate the responses in advance. Im buying some new skates and was torn between the two. Vapor x40 and the supreme one70. What are your takes on the two... thanks

The Vapor skates run true to width (ie, a D width is really a D width). Supreme skates are built on an oversized last and generally run wider than Vapors. Best advice is to go to a LHS, try on both skates, and see which fits best.

Since you're new on MSH, we like to just say that you should buy whatever fits your foot the best pre-baking; and you shouldn't limit yourself on these two skates, there are lots more out there to try. Plus, the Supreme and Vapor fit differently, The Supremes fit more of a narrow heel and wider forefoot.

Yea I agree, ive used ccm in the past and want to switch it up, im debating between the x60 and one80 also. Tried the supremes on and they felt amazing...

Hey, I was in the same situation as you are in up until just a few days ago. Only difference was I was deciding between the X50 and one80. For me, the supreme line's fit was just amazing. I love how form fitting the boot felt.... it was like an extension to your leg/foot. The Vapor line seems to be much roomier, which I didn't like. But as everyone's said before me, definitely go for whichever fits and feels better, but I think you've already figured that one out hahah.
