Radius on Easton steel?

Recommended Posts

I just picked up a pair of EQ3's on clearance and I was wondering what the radius was on the steel. I've been in CCM's since I first started playing and this is the first set of skates that i've had that hasn't been CCM/RBK. Just from having the steel against a flat surface, I can tell that alot less is contacting vs my CCM's and I'm wondering how it is going to effect my skating.

Unfortunately that link does not address the question of how it affects skating...

Less steel on the ice will give you more agility (ability to turn. etc) and less speed/glide generally. More steel will give you less agility and more speed and glide. There are some threads on this board that will give you more detail and accuracy about Radius' effect on skating, just search and you can find what you need
