astravis 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2011 I suppose that there's no bad time to start playing hockey, but my first game on ice is Thursday night--just in time to commemorate what will likely be the Thrashers departure from Atlanta. I'm a child of Flames season ticket-holder parents, so I guess this'll be the second team I've seen go. Thanks to everyone whose posts I've read in preparation for my first game, from equipment suggestions to "how not to do things" posts. I hope to be able to share a good first game recap soon. I heard there are quire a few folks on the wait list. I think I acquitted myself fairly well for my first game, managed to touch the puck a few times and get a couple weak shots off.
