Upgrade From Flexlites

Hey guys,

I am currently using a pair of Bauer Flexlite 3.0 skates that fit amazing but I feel that I need to start looking for an upgrade. Is there a skate that fits similar to the flexlite line that would offer more support/protection. My maximum budget is $300, any suggestions would be great. thanks in advance.

Fit is probably the most important part of finding the right skate. I'd look for some flexlite 4.0 Pros. I'd assume the fit would be the same, but the pro model is much stiffer and offers more support than the non pros. As far as protection, in my opinion, that is not one of the strengths of the skate. I've had black and blue toe nails after taking slappers off the skate.

If the max budget is $300 the regular 4.0 would work.

Barring that this THREAD might be able to give you some more insight of comparisons.
