Nike-Bauer One 75 stick

Recommended Posts

hey guys!

I'm searching for some help. Hopefully this isn't discussed somewhere else.

I want to know, did somebody used this stick and can tell me some infos about that. I can't find many infos about this stick.

A LHS here sold it for 75€ and it looks like a good price. I'm playing 2-3 times roller hockey in a week. In winter I'll be on the ice for one time a week. I'm a defense player with a hard shot.

Only thing I have read is that this stick is about 520 grams, so it looks like a little bit heavy, but when I look at the supreme line, the lower level sticks are always around these weight. I think it's unnecessary for me to buy a total one or some guy like that.

I used Bauer the last time a few years ago and I'm not so familiar with their sticks, but I've heard good things about them.

So is the Nike Bauer one 75 worth the money and did it feel not to heavy? Is the vapor line really that bad for defenders?

Please let me know your opinion and your experience!

The One75 is a midkick stick and will provide better loading for your slapshot and for loading up those long wristers, whereas the Vapor line (generally) is low kick and provides better snap and quicker releases for your snappers and quick wristers.

The One75 should be on clearance at all stores as it's an older line (replaced by the One80)

For that price, it's a good investment.

i was very fond of my one75, the weight wasn't so much what bothered me it was just blade heavy which took a while to get used to. to some degree i felt i had more control over my shots because it was blade heavy, but stick handling and passing felt more laboured.

the stick itself lasted 6 months, from a person whose never broken a stick. i was testing the flex after a game and it snapped in the middle.
