Changing chin straps?

Hello, I'm wondering how you would go about changing the chin strap on a Bauer 8500 helmet. The one currently on my helmet is still in pretty good shape, but I go into the locker room after a game and find out that the "button" for lack of a better term popped off.

He's asking about the chin strap, not a chin cup that attaches to the cage.

Go into your LHS, see if they have any spare/replacement straps, undo an ear loop (does the 8500 have ear loops that you can undo, like CCM/Rbk helmets? I think it does), slide off the old strap and slide on the new one.
