Bauer X:60 Tapered blade

Recommended Posts

I am looking to buy a bauer X:60 composite tapered blade pattern pm9. I live in a small province in Canada, there are no hockey stores around. So I went online to about half a dozen stores located in Canada, I only found a blade at 1 store and the price was rather high, If i bought it with shipping i'd be close to $100. This is an unexceptable price considering I can buy last seasons model online from a store in the U.S for about $65-70 shipping included. But heres' the catch none of these stores will ship bauer or any other product to Canada for reasons that are total BS. Here's my question How the hell am I suppose to get a bauer x60 composite blade pattern pm9? I'm about to SNAP, bauer needs to step their game up, pretty bad when a customer wants to buy your product but can't actually find it

Those stores won't ship to Canada because the manufacturers don't let them, they want to keep Canadian and US prices separate, with the Canadian dollar doing well this currently means inflated prices in Canada.

I have an X60 blade because I specifically wanted a P106, offered only by Bauer, but otherwise I wouldn't bother. Light, but not great feel IMO, and the hosel just doesn't seem that sturdy. Save your money and buy a cheaper tapered blade from another brand. You should be able to find SE16 blades for around $50 on sale now, or the older Synergy Elite blades which I think are virtually (exactly?) identical, the Forsberg/Zetterberg is basically the same as Bauer's PM9.

These guys have Zetterberg SE16s in a righty for $50 CAD

Yeah it's sketchy, the manufactures dont' tell them that though, I just spoke with warrior and hockey giant, warrior said once you buy something from them, you can give it away if you want it's yours. So I just spoke with hockey giant and they said oh yeah we can send you warrior eventhough it's on their banned products to Canada list. I don't know what the deal is with this not shipping to Canada but it seems pretty sketchy. Yeah I was using the warrior Kovalev curve for the last 6 or 7 years and I wanted to switch this year, so I looked at the pm9, it looked nice not a very big curve. I'm not overally fimilar with the easton curves but i'll chcek them out
