i don't see him crying about wasting space, however repeated posts are a waste , however slight it might be. also, it is helpful to the poster to get immediate information. And lastly, its better for people in the future searching for information to have information condensed as much as possible as opposed to reading one or two replys to a bunch of posts. </rant>

If the information is already posted, you don't have to wait for answers. There's nothing wrong with redirecting someone to already existing information.
