Budget SHin Guards with Low Profile

I am looking for the best value lo profile shin guards. I wear my shin pads behind the tongue of my skate. I have a pair of easton se4's right now and they are too bulky, push the tongue out too far, it's not really the length, going down a size would leave too much exposed, it's really just the bulkiness that causes problems.

I am looking at bauer x:30 they seem to be pretty decent and seem to have a low profile, any thoughts on other pads?

Well Vapor is definitely a good start. You might also want to consider older Warrior series of pads such as the Hitman or Hustler; those guys should be on clearance everywhere. Another option could be to try the CCM Fit line
