Bertuzzi playing for Manitoba Moose

Theres been word going around on the Winnipeg news and stuff that Bertuzzi will be playing for our IHL team, the Manitoba Moose, which is Vancouver's Farm team. Can anybody confirm this and is it allowed?

I heard the news did it as an April Fools joke where the news station just put together clips from training camp and such.

The Moose are in the AHL, the IHL doesn't exist anymore. If he was in the AHL, then he isn't on the Canucks roster and the games don't count for his suspension.

This one was a good one but the best Canucks prank was when the guys on sportspage said that Hedberg's agent screwed up and that Hedberg's visa would expire at the end of the regular season. They then took this bs excerpt from the NHL rule book stating that any goalie who had more games in the minors vs. the NHL and is over 1000 km away is not eligible to play in the post-season. The best was when they got that Levesque (sp?) guy from the university of british columbia to do this whole skit with them to make it seem like he was going to back up Cloutier in the playoffs. I was freaking out until I actually calmed down and realized what day it was.
