jazz4all 9 Report post Posted December 28, 2011 I'd say get the elbowpads as the shinguard's durability is bad. Mine broke on the knee cap after 3months

th6252 25 Report post Posted December 29, 2011 can't speak for the shoulders or shins, but i really love my era 7 elbows. their the first elbows of had that don't really slide down on me. i've had ccm v06, reebok 6k and ccm v10's (and tried on countless others), and these have been by far the most comfortable for me as well as being ridiculously light. can't speak for durability as i haven't even had them a half season yet, but so far so good with exception of a slight bit of discoloration on the white nylon parts.that being said, i'll have to add a few rather important caveats. they're certainly not gonna be for everyone. first of all, for high end elbows, they're not the most protective i've put on(fine by me as i play low level beer league). i'd put them roughly on the same level of protection as my ccm v06's or the current u+07's, maybe a tiny bit more protective than that but not by much.secondly, they run pretty short for size compared to most other elbows i've tried. roughly similar to the ccm u+07's lengthwise. for me, this was ideal as one of my problems is that although my forearms are relative average girthwise, my arms are pretty short, which is why a lot of elbows on the market don't work for me. jazz4all 9 Report post Posted December 29, 2011 i got G700 elbowpads and its really comfy especially the liner. my shinguard is the GS. i wouldn't recommend it in terms of durability . better spend some on reebok.
