First time skating on x60's

Recommended Posts

played some shinny for the first time in my new x60 LE's today

i upgraded some x15's and the difference in the skate is UNREAL, i know it is a way better skate but even just the way it feels on the ice blew my mind

the turns were tighter and sharper, stopping was effortless, acceleration was mind blowing.

im still getting use to the more aggressive stance of them though, so i'm a bit wobbly, but wow such a great skate!

anyone who was considering the x60's should definetly go with them! they are unreal!

for the record i also am using superfeet yellows!

by the time i replace these i'll probably be able to get a used pair of apx for the same price i paid for these on e bay

i love it when people sell their "old" gear really cheap

Haha ya, I paid $200 for my X:60s last year and by the time the APX replacements or Nexus come out I'll be able to get them for about the same price.

I tend to see if any Anton Volchenkov skates show up, we have a matching foot profile.

X7.0 is virtually the same skate. No significant difference in how it should fit or feel for you.

Well besides the fact I have custom X60's, It will feel fit a lot different. Guess when the time comes, we will see.

No, the statement stands. The boots are virtually identical. So if you have custom X:60s, getting a custom 7.0 should be identical in terms of feel, fit and performance. The point was you dont have to "move on to something else" because its basically the same skate with a new name and look.
