Pro's using Totalone tongues?

anyone seen any pro's actually using the stock Total One tongues? I have mostly seen black belt on TO boots.

Hard to tell with a lot of the pro's wearing their shinguards over their tongues. However, I just bought a pair of Total One pro stock returns from Ray Whitney and they have a regular tongue with a thick lace bite guard built in instead of the reflex tongue. Best skates I have ever skated in hands down. Comfortable, light, etc.

If I had to guess, most pros skip the reflex tongue.

I was at syosset the other day where the islanders sell some of their gear and I don't remember whose skates they were, but they were totalones with the 3flex toungue.

I have a pair of Frolov T1's. they have the stock reflex tongue. Wish they didn't.....

Now is it regular felt, or "Pro Felt"?

I think it is the pro felt. I feel much faster than I did with the regular non-pro felt. Kind of like when you are a kid and get a new pair of tennis shoes and you are convinced that you can run faster. I love the skates because I have a narrow foot and so does Ray Whitney. They are a C width and fit great.

Just watching the Lidstrom NHL36 on NBC Sports.... it looks like he's using the reflex tongue. Unless editing plugged in another Wings' skates.
