Comparing old vapor skates

Hey all. I've become increasingly frustrated with my NBH Vapor XXV skates. I came from using Bauer Vapor xx sfl which were my favorite skates ever. Since my switch to XXV, I've had to make a bunch of changes to make them work for me including having to skate barefoot, switch to superfeet, change how I lace and tie my skates, and go to waxed laces and having to tie them extremely tight to avoid my heel from popping up. I have a chance to get some Vapor X:60 locally and was wondering if anyone has experience with them and/or can compare them to either the XX or XXV skates my typical "whatever" approach and wear gear until it disenegrates is being lifted- so much so I may stray away from Cooper/Bauer/Nike/NBH/Bauer since I made the switch from Micron in grade school haha.

Oddly enough, I just tried the pencil test and failed pretty bad. Wasn't expecting that with previous heel issues.

If you were in Micron, look at Supreme...ONE100 and above.

My suggestion is simply look for another pair of XX in good condition.

If you're a 9.5D I might have something for you.

I can't remember if I had the XX in 10 or 10.5. Once I bought the XXV I didn't hold on to them. I'm assuming it's the same as my current skates.
