Thoughts on Combat sticks?

Old thread, but I love my 52 cal. I run an int 67 flex cut down to probably a 70-75 flex. I know there are a lot of complaints about durability, but I've been using mine for a year now twice a week on the ice and no problems at all.

I use a Combat 45 stick twice a week and I really like it. I have 90 flex, which is the only bummer. I would like a lower flex but I got 2 of these sticks for super cheap. So, I can't complain.

I've had the 45cal and 52cal, different versions of the 52 cal with the normal shape, radius shape, as well as the reloaded. All of them have performed well, and I am still using my 52 cal after playing for half a year (once a week).

In terms of sexiness... The reloaded is a real nice stick to look at. Simple graphics, and you can see the carbon weave thru most of the stick.

I own a 50cal shaft and it is durable and kicks nicely on snaps and wristers but torques horribly on slapshots.

The 50 cal was great and the 52 cal was/is. I'd rate them a solid 10 with one tiny exception, I get more vibration back through the shaft on slappers then I do with most other high end sticks. Other than that, puck feel, weight/balance, shooting and durability is top notch.

The second one (the one marked Ballistik) is an older model.

Not sure if/what they changed between the ones.

hmm, the 2012 one is gray graphics and the 2011 one is red...

I bought the one with gray graphics.

My son had 2 of the 52 cal reloaded junior sticks. He's a Pee Wee major and the blades completely exploded on him, they are a light stick but seeing where they are now out of business the warranty is completely useless to me

Contact Bauer seeing as how they bought out combat. I broke a 52 cal and they sent me an x100 as a replacement
