SmokinApricot 22 Report post Posted April 7, 2012 I ordered a pair of Eagle x65i from my LHS. Looked great when they came in and felt amazing. However, after using them for 2 games and 2 stick time sessions the stitching started coming apart. Returned them through the warranty and instead of replacing them they did I a sloppy glue job and then stitched it back together. Not sure if this is common or not. Still are comfy, but I'm honking of going with Warrior for my next glove purchase.
Scopes 4 Report post Posted April 8, 2012 My roommate bought a pair of Eagle PFX (I think these are comparable to the x65) gloves a while back, the stitching on the palms tore out within 2 months of mild-medium usage which to say the least was quite disappointing. After this happened, he picked up a pair of PPF X905's that he's been using for a few months and they still look and feel brand new. What I took from this is, not unlike all other companies you get what you pay for. Invest in a better glove and you'll get better return.EDIT: He shoots left, so that's the lower hand that exploded like that. The right hand glove's little finger was starting to unravel as well when he stopped using them.
