Easton Blade ID

Recommended Posts

Found this Z-bubble at my local Play It Again. Do you know what model the Easton blade is? It has a goofy little taper to it. How about the curve? They want 50 bucks for it. Uncut 100 flex shaft...in like new shape really. The blade has never been used, just taped up.

Easton Z-Carbon Focus Flex blade. I know a few guys around here who stockpiled and swear by them. Almost impossible to come across nowadays. At least senior models. Juniors pop up on ebay now and then.

Yeah that was the top of the line standard shaft/blade combo. For $50 I'd snap that up in a heartbeat, even though I'm not a righty.

Maybe I'll snag it with my next check. I have an 85 flex zbubble. 100 flex would be a bit stiff, but hey...time to start a collection maybe? Did the Zbubble come in anything other than 85 or 100 flex? I really like the Z-bubble shaft, but I think I'd like to go down to a seventy something flex.

Intermediates were 75 i believe, but the shaft had a smaller diameter as well, not sure if you'd want that. Seniors came in 85, 100, and 110 I am pretty sure.

Thanks, I don't have very big hands, but I do prefer senior diameter shafts.

used to be my signature setup back in the day...focus flex blade with the silver z bubble. i still remember the grip that used to peel off of em. my first ever high school game i had that setup and after a faceoff in the 3rd it was chopped in half. i had just gotten it before that game. durability was OK, i remember sending a lot of shafts back to easton but the setup played extremely well.

One of my favorite setups was that with the griplite...still have two 110 flex grip lite shafts that I now realize are too stiff!

When the blade broke, took a saw to the focus flex part, (above and below the word) drilled a hole in it, to make a great keychain...then some wonderful person in college stole it off me (with my student ID that had food $ on it)
