puckhoggy 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2012 I really want to start rollerblading out on the driveway or around town. I will not be in any indoor/inline rinks. I have no idea what to look for in wheels or even a boot. Do I need a brake? What brands/models should I look into? And how much should I be expecting to spend, roughly? Thanks I'm advance! sharks25 9 Report post Posted April 20, 2012 What Ice skate are you on? Most bottom if the line skates will work fine, Alkali, Mission (fits similar to supremes) Bauer (wider than vapor) Reebok (like their ice skates) are all good choices, depending on fit. fatwabbit 93 Report post Posted April 20, 2012 Blade? Meaning skates? Got confused with the title. As what sharks said, there are many brands that have the inline version of their skates available, and a few like alkali that are inline specific. Try them on and see which ones fit best. Alternatively you could get a similar model of ice skates and have an inline chassis mounted... If its your first pair of inline skates it might be best to go with actual inclines first... As you get a feel of what you want you can start getting more customize ...
