Don't have time to sharpen blades, best way to get an edge?

Recommended Posts

I dont' even sweet stick all the way down the blade. Most of the time I just use it towards the heel to help avoid "sloppy tail" on hard turns.

I think the better trick if you're edges are dull is lace up more eyelets, assuming you don't lace up all the way. I can cut a little harder and get more weight into what edge is left at the expense of losing a little more nimbleness.

I just bought a product called Edge Again, much easier and more effective to use then the sweet stick. It is actually micro filing a sharp edge back on your blade by sharpening from both the bottom and side of the blade, not "Rolling"your edges. It is spring loaded and controls how hard you can press down, so you don't have to worry about damaging anything. I have the manual version and use it game, even when I get FBV.
