Need quick help: AI 9 vs EQ50

Recommended Posts

i am playing overseas in New Zealand National League and need some help. I am getting a couple sticks today for the season because the ones i have I don't think will make it (2 ai9's and 2 1/2 s19's). I am thinking of getting 3 eq50's as back ups ( or mains if they are good enough) to the ai9's. I know I like the ai9's in 85 flex but can only get 100 flex eq50's. What is the flex like in the eastons and how are they overall? Used to love s19's but can't really dig how hard the blade feels anymore compared to the ai9. All help appreciated.

Most people I know who have used the EQ50 with weights ended up ditching the sticks for something else (me included). Every Easton stick I've seen/used gets more whip after use and the Eq50's where not an exception to this rule. I could help you with some pro stock 85 flex 11k or ai9 sakic rightys in Akl, NZ. flick me a message if you are interested.

$$$$$. Especially in this league. I can see them getting broken or any stick for that matter fairly easily and stick are ridiculously expensive over here. Easton RS. $500 NZ which right now thanks to the market is roughly $400 american/canadian
