cracked shaft?

So, there's a line of crack on my warrior shaft. i just noticed it when i was heating the shaft to change my wood plug. Previously, i heard a cracking sound after face off.

its like the outer layer is coming off and making a noticeable bump. Is it ok or just a sign to replace it?

You could cut that section off and add a wood end plug to make up the length. As long as you are able to insert the blade on the other end.
