Wheels/Ebay

Recommended Posts

Looking to get some wheels to get me through the summer (1 session) until ice starts again and not really looking to spend a fortune; has anyone ever purchased anything like these?

When I was looking for cheap wheels I went with TRON mega Hz wheels from hockeytron. I have had no issues with them and at $2 each you can't beat the price for the quality.

i think my some of my friends are using the similar wheels but in 76A to replace their addiction. its been around 4months,so i guess its more durable than addiction with nice grip. however, i'm not sure if its the same product :P

Awesome advice. I thik I am going to give those a go, I'm not looking for anything spectacular but definitely need to swap my wheels out for the summer.

whatever you might be using right now regardless of the condition, it's got to be better than those! You will regret buying them....

Are you referring to the Tron wheels?

i've used the ones from tgm skateboard - just for outdoor skating on asphalt and the softer ones i got for painted concrete. you get what you pay for. i got them on amazon and they came with some cheap abec 9 bearings that are really cheap and good for outdoor use. basically, if you don't care about performance and just want something cheap then go for it.

Appreciate the input. I think I'm going to give the Tron's a shot.

HockeyTron ones aren't bad for the money. I felt like they wore faster than a 82A wheel should, but they gripped decently enough. The wheels did start to chunk once they got close to the hub.
