Pro's using: Step Steel

1) Why Pro's don't use new: StepSteel SS-Ti ? I see only StepSteel Speed only.

2) And why they prefer StepSteel Speed, don't SrepSteel Speed XL?

1) Same reason why you don't see a lot of pro's using LS Fusion.

2) Step Steel Speed XL is a longer blade which puts more contact area on the ice. This is good for faster speeds but not tighter turns. Pro's are known to stick with what works and for years its been standard traditional steel and for a few years now Step steel.

Most pros use whatever their equipment manager gives them. There are one or two guys who care, but most just use what the equipment guy recommends.

1) SS-Ti isn't available yet.

2) Who says they aren't using XL? I know that some pros use XL steel. Also, just because pros don't use something doesn't mean that it is inferior.

i use the velocity steel and i know David Booth and Kesler are both on it...
