Bauer vs CCM skate length

I went to try on some new skates last weekend. I brought my custom Sidas footbeds with me so I would have a better idea of how they would feel. I am currently skating on Vapor 7.0 7.5 D width and they are painful in the forefoot/toe area. I tried on Nexus 600, Supreme .8 and CCM U+12. My footbeds fit perfect in the Bauer skates but were a little more than an 1/8" short in the CCM skates. The CCM's felt perfect for my feet which is probably a result of the extra 1/8" in length. (I have a narrow heel and a wide forefoot) Is the longer length a characteristic of CCM skates?

I've found the new U+ line to be about half a size larger, in the same size, than the previous CCM offerings. Normally, I'm a 6.5 in CCM's but in the recent U+ line I ended up in a 6. I am a 6.5 in Bauer Supreme's and a 7 in the Stealth just to give you a reference.

so from 10.5d supremes should be a 10d in U+? Looking to try out CCM skates and would appreciate CCM users input

Go try them both on, everbody's feet are different and you are going to get about 15 posts of people listing there shoe/skate sizes.
