rbk 10k vs axiom T6

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,
I have the opportunity for the same cost to either buy a pair of
rbk 10k that will come without wheels/bearings and that has a crack in each (tri-di) chassis that I think I'm able to fix.
or a pair of mission axiom t6 with wheels & bearings and that are in overall better condition.
Which would you pull the trigger on?

Id go for the 10ks on the condition that you are 100% sure you can fix the chassis.

If not you cant go wrong with the t6s. I have t9s and they are the best skates I have ever owned. I had t6s a few years ago and I enjoyed them aswell.

Any attempt to repair a broken chassis is always a gamble, and not to mention you will have to buy wheels, bearings and spacers for the 10k's. Sounds like the safer and less expensive route to follow is with the Mission T6's.

That depends on what skate would fit you better because in my experience both of those skates fit differently. What skates are you wearing now?

Removing fit from the equation I am going to say the Mission skates just because they are fully functional skates. I have no clue how you would repair a cracked chassis effectively and the Tri-D chassis is notoriously crappy in the durability department.

I can vouch for the difficulty in repairing cracked tri-d-lite frames. Kid I know broke both of his frames, took them to a skilled welder who could not do anything with them because the material they use in the frame is so light that as soon as you attempt to weld it it just evaporates away.
