Major differences in U CL and U 12?

What are the Major Differences in the CL's and the 12 skates? I am looking at switching to CCM skates after reading alot of good reviews. I will be switching to tuuk 2 black holders with fusion runners.

I have a pair of u+12 ccm. Tukk with black steel. Had them for over a year. I am on the ice 4-5 times a week, I play D. I destroyed a pair of bauers in less than a six months.

The ccm r still stiff. I have lost one eyelet for the laces ( easy to fix). I had to repair the tendon guard for the back of the leg. The guards both snapped, easy fix with leather.

The cl have slightly different material, weight differance is slight. The interior is slightly different giving you a slightly better fit. However I have had issues with my ankles not being comfortable in other skates, ccm 12 not one isuue after one bake.

Four games ago I replace the foot bed.

I love these skates. If you have the $ spoil your self buy the cl.

If you don't have the extra cash get the U 12. They are great skates.

In vancouver BC. I have seen the U 12 on sale. The CL are not. No brainer get the U 12 and buy a new stick with the money you save.

FYI. I have only tried on the CL never worn them on the ice.

I will probably go the 12 route then and replace the holders with tuuk. I play 2 times a week, and like anything im into, I become a gear slut..ha ha...

I recommend the black steel.
