New Stick and Gloves

Hi,

I'm looking for some help in choosing a new pair of gloves and a new tapered shift which unfortunately I broke last night aswell as tearing a nice hole in my old gloves.

I currently have Nike Bauer XII gloves which I have liked since day 1, re palming isn't as option in Australia as nobody locally will offer that service. I am looking for something similar in fit, i only have small hands so they are a 13" glove. The tapered fit is what im looking for but have no idea what i should be looking for in terms of getting the most similar fit possible. I have tried other tapered gloves but none of them ever seem to be as tight fitting as these and that's what im looking for. Something with a little bit more protection would be nice but not really a must. Can anybody give me some advice in looking for a tight form fitting glove like the XII? Not looking to spend any more then probably $100

Onto the shaft, I was using a Warrior Dolomite Intermediate shaft so im looking for something in the 70-75 flex range without the need to cut it down a heap, Intermediates are perfect length for me and are almost never cut down but it seems nobody really offers intermediate tapered shafts any more I could get another dolomite but looking for something a little bit newer but with the same durability and similar feel and as light as possible. I can only find Warrior selling intermediate shafts which is a bit of a bummer but cutting it down 2" -3" shouldn't be an issue if the advertised flex of the stick is normally judged after 2- 3" have been cut off. Some advice here would be good aswell.

I'm not sure if they are availible in Austrailia but Bauer vapor gloves are one of the tighter more tapered gloves on the market. Looke for something like a vapor x3.0 glove.

Regarding your two-piece setup, I assume you also have some tapered blades to go along with your tapered shaft? In that case, if you want to continue using your existing blades, your options are further limited to intermediate or senior tapered shafts rather than standard.

If you cannot find another Dolo, I suggest looking at the Dynasty tapered INT shaft at 70 flex. Harrow Sports also offers their 300 series shafts at INT 60 flex or SR 75.
