One piece to Two piece pants

Hey guys I was wondering if there was a way I could convert a one piece warrior franchise pant to a two piece. It would be mostly for the uppers. I dont need the lowers.

How would I go about doing this?

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Sure- just cut the outer shell material just below the seam of the kidney pads. You would likley have to add some buttons to attach a lower. I would think you would be better off selling those and buying a two piece pant instead of butchering a useable pair of pants, but that's just me.

You can also sew a series of webbing loops into your hacked-out uppers, then thread a length of webbing through those loops and the buttonholes on your lowers; I'd suggest using 3/8" webbing if you can find it, but you can also use a skatelace as the 'belt' in a pinch, and it's somewhat easier to thread in and out. That'll spare you mucking around with rivet-based buttons, which are an enormous pain in the ass, or taking it to a tailor.
