Mako vs Mako 2 blades

I've started seeing sales on the original Mako blade now that the Mako 2 is out. Is there a noticeable difference between the two? I've used the Mako 2 and like it, but I'm not working right now, so I'd love to save $10 if I can.

I've read the technical differences listed in the catalogs, but was hoping for some input into how that relates to feel and durability.
