Broken skate?

I took a hard shot off the toe of the skate the other night during a game and a piece blew out. I'm wondering if this is something that should be fixed and if so how?

epoxy should easily get that kind of job done

That area will chip away over tme on most skates. The piece you are missing is cosmetic, but you could super glue or epoxy the area if you are worried bout further chipping.
