Tour Code 1 EX roller hockey skates - cannot unscrew the screws on one side to change the wheels

Recommended Posts

Hello,
I have a pair of Tour Code 1 EX roller hockey skates.
I am try to unscrew the bolts to change the wheels.
On the Tour Code 1 EX, there are screws on both sides of the chassis.
I can only unscrew all the screws on one side of the chassis.
All the screws on the other side are stuck and they cannot be unscrewed.
Is there a way remove the screws which are stuck?
Please advise.
Thanks.

I'm not positive if your skates have this type of setup, but based on what you're saying do the axel's require you to insert an allen wrench inside the axel where you have removed the one screw already?

So you would have an allen going inside the axel, and ne rotating the opposite way on the outer screw. I had a setup like that years ago.

The Code 1 EX's have the Hum'er frame with the single piece axels on them. They screw directly into the frame. You should just be able to unscrew the part with the space with the allen key.

Thanks for the help.

I can unscrew the screws on one side of the chassis, but the screws on the other side are still attached to the single piece axel and these screws keep spinning the single piece axel so it cannot be removed.

Lock tight was placed on the screws. I will place Lock tight on the screws that can be unscrewed and hope the screws on the other side will eventually loosen up.

Does anyone know another way remove the screws which are stuck to the single piece axel in the chassis?
Please advise.
Thanks.
