seedmaya 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2013 I'll be spending a couple months living in Williamsport this summer and I'm having trouble finding a place to get some skating time in while I'm there. I figured someone here might be more accurate than Google searches, which seem to love telling me all about roller rinks but nothing about ice.So, is there anywhere near Williamsport that will have ice in July/August/early September? Chadd 916 Report post Posted April 30, 2013 You're pretty much screwed. That's where I grew up, and most of my family still lives, but there is no indoor ice in town. Come fall, the nearest is the rink in Sunbury. If you want to drive 90 minutes for ice, you have Harrisburg (where I am now), the Scranton Wilkes-Barre area or State College. At least the inline facility in Williamsport is decent. I played there for a year or so when I loved back to town in 200/2001. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Chadd 916 Report post Posted May 1, 2013 The one rink (west shore - Mechanicsburg) is closed for the summer, the other one (east shore - Harrisburg) will be closed on Sundays until August or so. Son't trust the website, give the rink a call to make sure the schedule is up to date. (717)558-7663. Let me know if you come down this way, I live about 5 minutes from the rink.
