cutting

this may sound kinda stupid but uhh i just got the dual fit shaft by innovative and i was wondering if i can cut down the side that is supposed to fit standard shafts because its a tad long...it should just be like cutting a regular shaft just at the button and not the top...can i do this or will it screw up the shaft so it cant fit standard blades???? :(

depends if you cut 10 inches or just 1-2 inches. If it's 1-2, standard blades should be fitting perfectly.
