yan 2 Report post Posted May 14, 2013 Can someone give a review of this stick? I saw this on total hockey but there are no reviews for it.Looking at the specs, it's a decent price for a lightweight composite stick. But if Montreal is bad at making composites, then 70 bucks is expensive for an average stick.
bnr032 11 Report post Posted May 14, 2013 i have a few of them.I think they are great, i use 100 Flex. and the first batch i had was 85 flex or whatever they had, i found them too whippy.I bought them all on a whim, because prior to taking a 10yr hiatus from hockey i was using the Montreal 9950 Fibrelites with Euro Curve. Nothing i found had a similar curve. These sticks have it.I am very very pleased with the sticks i have bought. I have snapped 0 during game play. but have snapped one on the goal post 'on purpose'.. but i suspect any stick would have snapped due to how pissed off i was.I do recommend them, my friend now has a couple aswell (but the league he and i play together in hasnt started. he has been positive from his stick and pucks and when he has a hit to train the kids team)I forgot to mention, they are owned by Warrior, and made by warrior, on the back of the stick you will find the warrior stickers/hologram
cbart 1 Report post Posted May 15, 2013 Picked one up awhile back...loved the toe curve on it (Howitzer), but very blade heavy. Ended up heating, pulling the blade and replacing with kovy pro stock blade. Really like the shaft diameter, but yes, played very whippy (85 flex version).
