Holder heights?

Just me or are the new holders just making up height loss from switching to thinner carbon outsoles (vs thick white ones made of ??)

A higher holder is still going to raise the bottom of the outsole regardless of thickness. Raising the outsole alows the skate to lean more before contacting the ice, so they accomplish the performance improvement while at the same time making a lighter skate. Win-win.
